Sedes Sapientiae International Ecclesiastical College (or Seminary) was erected by the Holy See in 1990 to form seminarians from all over the world sent by their respective bishops to study at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. With the help of formators who also reside in the seminary, candidates to the priesthood receive in Sedes Sapientiae the proper training required by the Church in the different dimensions of Christian and priestly life: human, spiritual, doctrinal, academic, professional and pastoral.
