—after completing his studies abroad, be willing to return to his diocese
and be assigned to the seminary

FOR PRIESTS

Theological Centrum assists in contacting funding agencies that usually provide partial scholarships to cover the tuition fee and/or board and lodging.

To apply, the priest must:

—be personally recommended by his Bishop

—be at most 35 years old

 —have an excellent academic record

—be interested in deepening his spiritual life while studying abroad,
especially through means of formation offered in addition to academic training

—after completing his studies abroad, be willing to return to his diocese
and be assigned to the seminary

FOR ALL APPLICANTS

Theological Centrum carries out the selection of candidates. Aside from submitting the required application form, recommendation letter from the bishop and other documents, applying priests and seminarians typically have to undergo personal interviews and examinations, and attend a live-in seminar, as part of the screening process. Successful applicants take Spanish or Italian courses (depending on their place of study) organized by Theological Centrum around the months of July and August.

Scholarship applications must be submitted before January 31 of each year. Please contact us for further information.
